Cockles have been blanched in hot water and then mixed with spicy seasoning as well as hot pepper.
It's served with rice mixed with the same spicy seasoning and with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.

The cockles are pretty spicy.
If you like spicy seafood, You'll definitely like this dish.

The rice isn't too bad as well.

The rice and cockles compliment each other very well.

And goes perfectly well with soju.

Kko Joo Mak is definitely worth the visit if you like spicy shell fish dishes.
They are usually packed so you may have to wait (as I did for about 30 minutes), but the wait is worth it if you're looking for a great dish to go with soju.
