[SoongSil University] Soong Sil Gol [숭실골 고기마을]

Soong Sil Gol Gogi Maeul (숭실골 고기마을) is located right across from Soongsil University annexe and is a popular grilling restaurant among Soongsil university students.

To find Soong Sil Gol, come out of exit number 4 at the Sonngsil University station, turn left into the first alleyway and walk straight up the hill until you see the restaurant to your left.

 Soong Sil Gol specializes in variety of pork dishes as well as simple meal menus.

And since it's located right next to Soongsil University, everything they serve is quite inexpensive.

Unfortunately, the owners don't speak any English but the most of the customers are college students so they should be able to help you out if you don't know any Korean.

Two servings of Bulzip Samgyupsal (Pork belly with cuts)

 Not the highest quality meat that you can find but at 6,000KRW per serving, you can't really complain.

 Comes with Kimchee, marinated sesame seed leaves, pickled onions, and pickled radish slices.

Also comes with hot bean paste soup.

The sound of grilling meat can be so soothing....

 Ready to dig in!!

 Great with roasted garlic.

 Great any way you eat it.

 Perfect compliment to shot of soju.

 They also have great cheeze katsu.

Great as a meal or as a side dish to your soju.
